Join us for our 8 week Castanets Class!
This beginner Castanets class will help you develop the fundamentals for playing the castanets. You will learn the traditional patterns and combinations for playing and dancing with this beautiful percussion instrument. We will also work on moving and dancing with the castanets.
Castanets can be purchased for this class if you do not have them, $10-$20 depending on quality. Please contact me ahead of time so I can send you the options I have in stock and prepare them for you ahead of class.
Spring Session: 8 weeks (no class April 18)

The class location is Dance Connection Studio, 221 Center Street Grayslake. We will be at the BACK studio, so park in the lot BEHIND the dance studio off of S. Whitney Street.
Missed classes cannot be made up. This class is open to students of all ages (over 13), fitness levels, and genders; everyone is absolutely welcome. No experience is necessary for this class.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable clothing. Flamenco shoes are not needed for Castanets Class.
Payment can be made here online or in cash/venmo when you attend class. Contact me with any questions at all.
