flamenco Classes

11:45am Castanets Class (25 minutes)
Appropriate for beginners, we will work on drills and movement patterns as well a s. Castanets can be purchased—email me if you are dropping in and need to buy a pair so they can be prepared ahead for you.

12:15pm Multilevel Flamenco Technique & Choreography Class (1 hour) Appropriate for beginners and advanced beginners, we will work on flamenco posture & attitude, braceo (armwork), floreo (handwork), and taconeo (footwork). We will build a short Alegrias choreography with new choreography added each week—optional to practice each part to use in the future.

All classes are held at Dance Connection Studio, 221 Center Street, Grayslake—Enter from the BACK door! Lots of free parking in the lot back there, front door will be locked).
